Boca Raton Woman’s Club Installations

The Boca Raton Woman’s Club installed co-presidents during its recent meeting.

The club was chartered in the city of Boca Raton in 1964. It is a member of the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs, the oldest and one of the largest organizations of women who dedicate themselves to community improvement.

Outgoing President Pam Capi led the club for 3 years, and received appreciative applause and a bouquet of flowers. She said she enjoyed being challenged in following the goals of the GFWC.The club features speakers and supports charities who serve women in need, provide aide to the underserved, raise funds for college scholarships and collect books for the youth library.

Bonnie Mason and Virginia Bauer were installed as Co-Presidents.

Members also taking office included: VP Membership-Dianne Schellig, VP Programs-Roslyn Ross-Hoffman, Recording Secretary-Carlene Sterace, Corresponding Secretary & Chaplain-Charlotte Robinson, Treasurer-Annette Phelps, Advisor-Director-Helen Babione.
