The Boca Raton Bowl has a new name and a new title sponsor.
The bowl will be known as the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl this year through the 2019 season, according to a Dec. 1 announcement from ESPN Events.
Based in New York, Cheribundi produces tart cherry beverages that are all natural and 100 percent juice from U.S. grown cherries.
“We are thrilled to welcome Cheribundi Tart Cherry as our new title sponsor and believe this is an ideal fit for the bowl game and the surrounding community,” said Doug Mosley, executive director of the game. “Cheribundi is perfectly geared to the active, healthy lifestyles of the Boca Raton and Palm Beach County communities. We look forward to working together to further develop the bowl game and provide a memorable experience for the student-athlete.”
The 2017 Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl will be played onDec. 19, at 7 p.m. at FAU Stadium and will be televised on ESPN. This will be the fourth edition of the annual bowl game with a full slate of bowl festivities starting with team arrivals on Friday, Dec. 15.
